8 Steps to Make the Law of Attraction Work for You + Law of Attraction Books
What is the law of attraction?
The law of attraction is a universal law and a belief that you attract in your life what you focus on. Thus, if you focus on positive things – positive things happen in your life; while if you focus on negative things – negative things happen to you. But is it really that simple? Let’s find that out.
What is it all about? It sounds like magic. But it’s not. In reality, the law of attraction is just your mindset working. All people have different mindsets and we all have different results in life. While someone is not afraid to take a risk, start a business not knowing whether it will ever give any profit, someone else is not ready to quit a job they absolutely hate. The first one aims to reach the stars and eventually reaches at least the sky and lives the life of their dream, while the second one is too scared to even try and spends their whole life at that awful job and hates life.
Positive thoughts = positive life. Negative thoughts = negative life. If you want to change your life, you need to change your mindset first because the same mindset will never deliver different results. A negative mind will never give you a positive life. If you believe in the success of anything you do, eventually, the odds will be in your favor. One of my favorite quotes ever belongs to Henry Ford: “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t – you’re right.”

How to make the law of attraction work for you
1. Get rid of your limiting beliefs
Ask yourself, what is “standard” for you? For everyone it’s different. For someone, “standard” is living in a villa with a pool, travelling every month, having no need to save for retirement, etc. I think you can imagine that lifestyle without my help. On the other hand, for someone “standard” is working 9-5, living in a small apartment, having debts, etc. Why do people have such different lives? Not all wealthy people were born rich.
Identify your limiting beliefs and substitute them with positive beliefs. For example, thinking “this is too expensive” is like saying to the Universe “I don’t need it, I am afraid of expensive things.” So instead of thinking “it’s too expensive” start thinking “one day I will be able to afford it.” Substitute your “it’s impossible” thoughts with “it’s possible” thoughts. You can get whatever you want. The Universe is abundant. There’s no lack of anything in the world. You just need to learn to attract in your life whatever you truly need (remember these words, you always get as much as you NEED, not just what you think you want/desire/crave, this is very important to note).
2. Broaden your mind
Usually, poor, always complaining and always miserable people are narrow-minded. For some reason, they refuse to accept new ideas. Having not enough knowledge makes them miss a lot of opportunities. The more you know, the more opportunities are out there for you. The Universe is willing to give you whatever you truly need but how can you receive it when you’re lying on the couch doing nothing? Read success stories, search for new opportunities, get inspired by beautiful places and successful people. Believe that you can be one of them. If they could succeed, why can’t you?
3. Dare to dream
In other words, LET yourself have whatever you want. You may say that of course you let yourself have millions of dollars but that doesn’t change your financial situation. You are wrong. Actually, you let yourself have as much as you have now. Let yourself have 1000$ more every month – believe that you CAN have it, you really NEED it and you DESERVE it – and you’ll get it.
Wanna check how much you let yourself now? Open booking.com, choose any destination you would like to visit and look through hotels suggested. You’ll probably open and look at pictures of hotels which prices are affordable for you. While hotels with prices 10 times higher than what you can afford now will be marked by your mind as too unrealistic. Who even spends that much on a holiday, right? But if those hotels exist, it means that there are people willing to pay that much. Let yourself be one of those people. Open pages of the most expensive hotels and look at their photos. Maybe you won’t like some of them but now you know that you’re able to choose from the whole pool of options out there. Broaden your financial boundaries in your mind. Stop skipping something just for labeling it “too expensive”. Let yourself be a millionaire at least in your imagination first. Remember, “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t – you’re right.”
4. Think as if you already had what you dream about
What do I even mean? Well, it’s about mindset. If you think like a poor person, you will always remain poor no matter how hard you work. Thinking about saving on paper towels to save 10$ per year you will always remain a person who doesn’t have extra 10$ – the Universe will see you don’t need paper towels = you don’t need money to buy them. Instead of having enough money to buy everything you need to be comfortable you’ll have LESS because you are willing to shrink your needs.
To be healthy, you need to think that you are healthy, strong enough to recover and be healthy and fit, instead of thinking how many diseases you have and might have. Thinking about diseases all you will attract will be new diseases.
To be loved, you need to think of yourself as of someone who deserves unconditional love, treat yourself this way and not let other people treat you differently. Also, it’s important to treat other people the way you want them to treat you. The Universe can see everything, don’t try to fool it.
5. Loosen your grip
Don’t cling to anything. You can’t control situations. You can control only your reaction to them. Let events unfold as they are supposed to. You need to understand that everything you desire may happen but you can’t know when exactly. If you turn your whole life into anticipation of all your dreams coming true, you’ll just waste your energy and eventually, you may stop believing that your dream will ever come true.
Moreover, some of your desires may not actually be yours (remember what I said before about your true needs?). Nowadays, people are very influenced by society mostly via social media. When you see beautiful “perfect” women in designer clothes, driving expensive cars, etc. you may start thinking that you’d want that lifestyle too. However, it may be not your REAL desire. Your real desire may be rescuing stray animals or something else which is absolutely different from that kind of lifestyle we see on social media. Know YOUR OWN desires.
6. Act
It’s difficult to become a millionaire working as a full-time cleaner and doing nothing else. If you want to win a lottery, you have to at least buy a lottery ticket.
Moreover, idle desire does no good to your energy. Whenever you find yourself craving to get what you dream about, start doing something that can help you make it happen. It can be writing, taking pictures, cooking, sewing, whatever you enjoy. Every day do something that takes you one step closer to your dream. No matter how slowly, but make sure you progress every single day.
7. Don’t question your future success
To make the law of attraction work for you, you must believe that your future success is imminent. Don’t question it, don’t ponder how or when exactly it’s going to happen. Just be confident and relax. Do what you need to do every day to make your dreams come true eventually. What truly belongs to you, will find its way to you sooner or later.
8. Be ready to let go
Whether you achieve what you want or not, should be of no importance to you. It may sound confusing, I know, but you have to understand it. Otherwise, you will never be able to loosen your grip and let events unfold without your control. You are not God. Nothing is in your control. Just work, do the best you can to make your dream come true but also be ready to let go of your dreams. They don’t HAVE TO come true. If they do – you’ll be happy, but if they don’t – it’s not the end of your life. Your life should not become one huge anticipation of all of your dreams coming true. Maybe over time you’ll realize that some of your dreams weren’t even yours because sometimes we dream about and desire popular things without questioning whether we really need them, like them, want them. It’s very important to distinguish our own dreams from dreams of other people and from what is popular on social media. Read more about it and why quitting Instagram is a good idea here.
And remember, you can fool yourself but you can’t fool the Universe. The Universe always knows your true feelings. If you don’t believe 100% or if you need more money for wrong purposes while telling yourself that you need it for something good – the Universe will not send you what you desire. If you desire love just to play games – you will be punished. If you ask for health and swear to be a good person ever since but after getting what you wanted you forget about your promise – the Universe will break the deal. We always get what we deserve.
Law of attraction books
Here is a list of most inspiring books on the law of attraction I have read that will change your life for the better.

The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success by Deepak Chopra

This is the most prominent book I’ve ever read and I always highly recommend it even to people who are new to the law of attraction and spirituality. It’s a masterpiece about good, kindness, right thoughts and actions and how it can and will improve your life the moment you read the first several pages. I actually think this book must be studied in school.
Reality Transurfing. Steps I-V by Vadim Zeland

As described by a review on Amazon: “Law of Attraction meets Consciousness meets Quantum Physics”. While The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success can be read by anyone, Reality Transurfing is not for newbies. It’s a great advanced-level book for those who believe in the law of attraction and have seen it work in their lives. Why should you read this book? The book explains how this world works and teaches its readers to live their dream life without stress and problems.
Your Body’s Telling You: Love Yourself!: The most complete book on metaphysical causes of illnesses & diseases by Lise Bourbeau

Our thoughts determine every aspect of our life and our health in particular. Consistently experiencing bad emotions leads to developing diseases. If you already have some chronic illnesses, it’s a great book to analyze what you’ve been doing wrong in your life and what things your should reconsider. Forgive yourself and other people in your life, stop feeling guilt, shame, anger, etc. and heal your soul and your body.
Heal Your Body by Louise Hay

Another great book to help you start working on your negative emotions and thoughts. I don’t say it’s 100% true or that you’ll heal 100% but it’s worth a try. The book will surely help you get rid of some negative states of mind which is, in my opinion, still great no matter if you heal your long-term chronic illness or not as you will start feeling happier and more content with your life.
Law of attraction films
The Secret: Dare to Dream

Instead of watching sick movies and TV-series about murders, psychopaths, terror, watch this movie. Yes, it’s simple but it’s also very inspiring and if you believe in the law of attraction, it will keep you on this track.
People who don’t understand how things work think that this movie is about magic. No! It’s about your mindset. After all, you’re the only one responsible for your life: it’s either you choose to expect bad things to happen to you and you’ll get them for sure or you believe in good, see opportunities, and make your dreams come true.
The Secret

The most famous film about the law of attraction. Very inspiring.
